1. Purpose & Commitment

The Journal of Engineering Research (Libya) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. This policy outlines the journal’s regulations on textual similarity and citation practices.

2. Similarity Policy

Similarity Threshold: 20%

Single Source Limit: 5%

  • Verbatim copying is prohibited.
  • Self-plagiarism (Redundant publication) is not accepted.
  • Translation plagiarism will be strictly monitored.
3. Citation Style
Prescribed Format: IEEE Style
  • Cite primary sources whenever possible.
  • Avoid excessive self-citation.
  • Citation manipulation is strictly prohibited.
4. Author's Responsibility

Authors are solely responsible for ensuring originality. Submitting a manuscript confirms that the work has not been published elsewhere and that all contributions are properly cited.

5. Policy Enforcement

The editorial team reserves the right to reject or retract any submission found to violate this policy. Serious cases may result in blacklisting and institutional notification.
