Responsibilities Peer Reviewer

The peer reviewer plays a key role in judging the quality of the research submitted to the editorial board through the evaluation process, by submitting his/her observations to the editorial board regarding publication in the journal, according to the evaluation form prepared for this purpose, and taking one of the following decisions:

• Accepted for publication without modification.
• Accepted for publication after making the amendment.
• Not acceptable for publication, with an explicit and clear mention of the reasons for rejecting the research.

Subject to the following conditions:

• The final decision is left to the editorial board, and the identity of the peer reviewer should never be revealed to the author at any time either during the reviewing process or after publication.
• When the peer reviewer feels that he/she is not an expert in research evaluation, he/she must notify the editorial board to exempt himself/herself from the evaluation procedure.
• The research received by the peer reviewer must be treated as a confidential document, and the confidentiality of the information and ideas viewed in the research must be maintained and not presented and discussed with (other than the editorial board of the journal), or used for personal benefit.
• The peer reviewer must be conducted objectively, without personal criticism of the author, and the peer reviewer must express his/her opinions clearly with supporting arguments, and must not include personal or professional disputes.
• The peer reviewer must identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the author and indicate any plagiarism with the relevant quotation.
• The comments submitted should be relevant to the research and support its quality, and the comments should be detailed and transparent.
• The peer reviewer must finish the evaluation within the time period specified by the editorial board, and the peer reviewer can ask the editorial board to extend the evaluation period.
