Author Rights
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Engineering Research (Libya) are entitled to the following rights:
In compliance with DOAJ open-access standards, copyright is retained by the Journal upon acceptance. Authors are granted broad usage and sharing rights under the CC BY 4.0 license.
2. Archiving and Sharing- Archive the submitted, accepted, or published version in personal or institutional repositories.
- Share the article via academic networks or for educational purposes, provided the journal is attributed.
Authors receive full recognition. They may reuse parts of their work (e.g., figures, tables) in future works, provided the original publication is cited appropriately.
4. Appeal and Correction Rights- Appeal formal editorial decisions.
- Request retractions or corrections of published work in the event of significant errors.
Author Responsibilities
To ensure the highest standards of academic integrity, authors must adhere to the following:
- Plagiarism: Work must be completely original, with sources properly cited.
- Authorship: Only list individuals with significant contributions. All co-authors must approve the final version.
- Concurrent Submission: Submitting to multiple journals simultaneously is strictly prohibited.
- Accuracy: Report any discovered errors post-submission promptly.
- Data Transparency: Provide access to raw data supporting the findings when requested.
- Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research.
- Ethical Compliance: Research involving humans or animals must adhere to ethical standards and approvals.
- Peer Review: Authors may be invited to contribute to the peer-review process for other manuscripts.
